in which children develop normally through age 3 or 4. Then, over
a few months, children lose language, motor, social, and other skills
that they already learned. This loss of developmental skills may
occur in a very short period of time, after the onset of the disorder.
This loss may be days,r weeks, or even a longer time period, such
as months. Similar to autism, Childhood Disintegrative Disorder
is part of the spectrum of Autism Disorders.
